県庁前から徒歩5分で行けるところに中国福州式庭園があり、観光名所となっています。
その園に隣接したレストランが福州園ガーデン。
店内は庭園に調和した和モダン空間で、天井の装飾などにも異国情緒豊かな贅をつくしています。
2階の客席は全面ガラスで、外の庭園の緑と一体化していて、明るく落ち着いた雰囲気になっています。
テラス席はまさに庭園の中、気分ですね。
この手のレストランは高級で、観光途中で気軽に立ち寄れないのですが、然もあらず、ランチはカジュアルに利用できました。
メニューは中華料理に限らず、多国籍なフユージョン料理が揃っているのは意外ですが、嬉しいですね。
・ルーローハン定食 1,880円
豚三枚肉を甘タレで煮込んだ料理。
付け合わせは(スープ、蒸しエビ、中華タマ ゴ、アサリ、レモンクラゲともずく)
・グリーンカレー定食 1,880円
付け合わせはルーローハンと同じ。
・牛フィレ肉サラダセット 1,980円
その他にも、小籠包、福州園まん 480円、アグー豚入り福小籠包 3個 580円など。
子供用メニューがあるのも家族連れのときは有りがたいですよね。
ぼくは沖縄定番の、タコライス 1,080円 を注文。
特製タレをかけて美味しくいただきました。
それと、紅芋小籠包 680円 をデザートとして追加。
上品な甘さで、3個(小さめ)をペロリ。
本格的な中国茶から琉球野草茶なども揃っていて、西洋人カップルは食事をせずに、中国茶の作法を満喫していましたよ。
レストラン利用で福州園への入園料が無料になりますので、帰りは直接庭園へ入って、ゆっくりと鑑賞させていただきました。
