I saw a coupon for Gyukaku at Drug Eleven, and my wife wanted to go, so we went to Gyukaku for the first time in a while. It's been so long that I don't really know what the name of the old Gyukaku Kalbi has changed. Lol Anyway, we ordered Cow tongue, king skirt steak, kalbi, and innards. Yes, Cow tongue and kalbi are delicious! The king skirt steak is meaty but a little tough. The innards are not so good. We ordered some Other and then Sichuan-style numbing dandan noodles for the finale. I haven't had Sichuan-style mapo tofu lately, so I chose the large numbing noodles because I wanted the numbing taste of the peppercorns. But I was wrong. Even the large numbing noodles were quite numbing. It's not that I can't eat it, but if you eat it deliciously and vigorously, it's just average. I'm glad I didn't order the super numbing ones - thank you for the meal.
