古宇利大橋の観光で古宇利島を訪問。食べログで評価の高いこちらに訪問。丘を登った、ちょっと離れたところにあるから空いているかと思いきや、13時というのに行列がある。高評価の店は多少のロケーションの悪さも跳ね返す強さがある。店内のウェイティングリストに名前を記入して待つ。20分ほどで席に案内された。
店内からは古宇利大橋が見えて、景色は抜群だ。写真を撮る人がたくさんいるのも当然だ。注文は本日のお肉料理と本日の鮮魚の料理。それにシェアする予定で本日のパスタ料理も注文。なんのことはない、本日のランチを二人で全部頼んだ形だ。
とりあえずのオリオンビール。ちょっと酸味のある味だが、慣れると飲みやすい。地ビールらしい独特な香りがあとを引く。サラダは野菜をすりおろしたドレッシングで、とても美味しい。
魚は皮目をパリッと焼いて、魚肉はホワッとしている理想の焼き加減。料理上手が焼いた魚である。肉は厚切りをレアで焼いているが、火の通し具合がよく、ソースも美味しい。言うことなしだ。あんまり美味しいので、夜のメニューを見せてもらった。よさげなメニューなので、翌日の元日の夜の予約をお願いしたが、残念ながら満席とのこと。古宇利島は初訪問だが、おそらく古宇利島で一番美味しい店だと思う。ご馳走様でした。
