前回の訪問から約1年ぶりに私用のため沖縄を訪れています。滞在2日目となる火曜日は朝からやんばる（沖縄本島北部）に向かい、15時頃には沖縄市へ移動しました。ここでふと「まだ沖縄そばを食べていない」と気付いた私。幸いお腹にはまだ余裕があり、北谷にあるこちらのお店へ寄り道することにしました。
■『浜屋そば（小）』-550円-
あっさり出汁の利いたつゆに平打ちの縮れ麺。総じて優しい味わいなのですが、まあこれが旨い。そして驚くべきは具材のソーキがとても柔らかいこと。ゼラチンを思わせるような食感に加えて肉の旨みも兼ね備えており、これらに途中から加えた紅しょうがによる味変も良し。やみつきになってしまう私好みの一杯です。
BGMに沖縄民謡が流れ、風情ある店内にはサイン色紙が所狭しと飾られる人気店。以前から「浜屋そば」の味が大好きでしたが、改めてその旨さを再認識した次第です。美味しい料理、ごちそうさまでした。
