「ナン」と「ライス」が出てくる、コッテリ系「インドカレー」 : TAJ OKINAWA

Chatan-cho Ihei, an authentic Indian Curry shop along Kokutai Road. At one point, I think it was deployed a few restaurant, but now it has settled down to two restaurant here and in Midori-cho, Uruma City. This is the first time in 9 years! I used it for dinner for the first time in a long time. As is the case with all curry restaurants in Chatan, the customers here are mainly U.S. military personnel. Currently, there are restrictions on eating out, so there were several foreigners waiting for takeaway, but there was not a single person in the restaurant. It's an exotic interior, with about 100 seats, mainly sofa seats, restaurant, but it's quite lonely. Looking at the menu, there are plenty of "set menus" that include "chicken" in addition to "curry". There are about 20 types of "curry" with ingredients such as "chicken", "mutton", "Seafood", "beans", etc. Surprisingly, I thought that I had never ordered "Sag Mutton" (1050 yen) with "Salad Set" (+400 yen). The "curry" came with a large "naan" and "rice" together. Is this the default? "Curry" is a rich type of kotteri type, and I personally like the taste. This kind of "curry" goes well with "naan". The overall balance of taste and quantity was very good, and it was delicious until the end. It's been a long time since I've eaten it, but was it so delicious? Such an impression. It's not that spicy, and I wonder if it's arranged to suit the taste of Japan. Also, the "salad" with "boiled eggs", which is not often seen in Indian Curry restaurants, was a key point for me personally.

An Indian Curry restaurant on Kokutai Road. Whenever I passed by this area, I'd always see a sign saying something like ``Authentic Indian Curry made by an Indian chef'', so I've always wanted to go there someday. So, I went to the store on my way home from work. The signboards and banners visible from the outside have a somewhat familiar design, but the exterior of the building, including the plants, has a stylish atmosphere. The interior also has a slightly luxurious feel, so it might be a good place for a girls' night out. (Actually, the only customers other than me were female customers.) I believe that not only the chef but also the hall staff are Indian. Looking at the menu, there are many reasonably priced snacks and a la carte dishes. There aren't that many alcoholic drinks on the menu, so why are there so many a la carte dishes? It was strange, but there was a separate alcohol menu table, and there were quite a few alcoholic beverages such as wine listed there. A la carte dishes are reasonably priced, and if you look at the price of curry in that vein, it also looks cheap. I found this great store! That's what I thought, but the price of "curry" listed is for the single item. In the end, if you want to eat rice or naan, you have to order the salad set or soup set (both 400 yen). That's why I ordered "chicken curry" (900 yen) and "soup set" (400 yen). For the staple food, choose "Nan". (In the end, the price was reasonable.) Lately, I've been going to Indian Curry restaurants a lot, but to be honest, I didn't really understand the difference in taste between naan. However, the naan here is cooked quite unevenly, with some parts being chewy and others being crunchy. Surely this doesn't exist? I thought, ``I can enjoy a variety of textures'' and proceeded to eat it. "Curry" has a certain amount of spiciness. There's nothing in it other than the numbing spice. In short, the various spices were mixed well and didn't taste like ``curry'' at all. What is authentic Indian Curry like? The taste was not very satisfying to me. I probably won't go out to eat ``curry'' again in the future, but the a la carte menu was reasonably priced and there was a decent selection of alcohol, so I might use it for the purpose of ``going out for drinks.'' not.
