This is my first visit since TAJOKINAWA, which was previously located on Koza Gate Street, moved to Kokutai Road. I mean, it's been over 5 years since we moved... ``TAJOKINAWA'' is located in a building called Eagle Lodge on Kokutai Road. Before the move, it was really delicious, and I even recommended it when I was interviewed by a magazine. I'm looking forward to it because I think the taste hasn't changed.The interior of the restaurant is luxurious with oriental furniture. It's an interior that Americans seem to like. This time, I chose "B Lunch Set (1,100 yen)" from the lunchtime menu. A set of curry, naan, chicken tikka, salad, soup, and drink. The soup is minestrone-like and contains short pasta, giving it a Campbell's flavor. For the drink, I tried iced chai. Chai or lassi goes with curry. You can choose your curry, and I chose mutton curry, which is my personal favorite. It has large chunks of mutton and is soft and chewy. The spiciness is medium to medium. I wish it was a little more spicy. The large naan is of course freshly baked, chewy and sweet. This sweet naan goes well with spicy curry. Chicken tikka has a chewy texture and a great flavor of chicken and spices! It's been a while since I've had it, but it's delicious and you can rest assured. I like curry, but I don't really eat Indian Curry, so I've been avoiding it a lot.
