読谷は、紅豚の産地であり、
予てより、読谷現地で紅豚のとんかつを
食べてみたかった、、、
読谷現地での紅豚というと、
ホテル日航アリビラ内のレストランで、
琉球フレンチのコースで
紅豚が使用されていて食べたことがあるが、
やはり豚肉は、とんかつで喰らいたい！^^
･･･ということで、この想いをかなえてくれる、
"おきなわポークビレッジ"に行ってきた。
県内でもアグー豚のとんかつを食べれる店は多いが、
こと紅豚となると、久茂地の"紅"ぐらいしか知らない。
ましてや都内では、
表参道の"まい泉本店"ぐらいしか知らない。
お店があるのは、
読谷の渡具知ビーチにある食堂施設。
BBQ施設も兼ねているようで、
15時を回っているというのに駐車場は満杯、、、
ただ、レストランのイートインスペースは、
さすがにガラガラ。
そんなガラガラスペースのテーブル席に、
1人ちょこんと着席し注文したのは、
迷うことなく"紅豚ロースかつ御膳"。
斜めカットが印象的な紅豚のとんかつは、
肉質はまあまあだけど、
衣と火入れがさぼてんレベルかなぁ、、、^^;
現地のアドバンテージを全く感じません、、、
美味しい紅豚のとんかつを食べるならば、
やっぱり、東京表参道の"まい泉(本店)"が
1番だと確信しました。
