美浜地区に2店舗あるジバゴコーヒーにハマっています。
オリジナルTシャツはデザイン違い7枚、ロングＴシャツ4枚、スウェット3枚を持っていて、ほぼ毎日愛用しているほどの熱狂的フアンです。
もちろんコーヒーの美味しさは抜群。
コーヒーのクオリティーを競う大会で日本一に輝いた店長(ロースタリー店在籍)を筆頭に、スタッフ全員が、豆の産地や特徴を見極めて、ひき方や抽出温度・時間を調整する対応力を持っているので、風味豊かなコーヒーを提供してくれます。
ぼくはアメリカーノ専門ですが、女性客にはカフェラテやシェイクも人気があり、チーズケーキやマフィンなどのスイーツもお薦め。
オーシャンフロントに建つ店舗はアメリカ西海岸をイメージさせる雰囲気で、海と空と風を楽しみながら、海外気分を満喫できますよ。
イエローの紙カップはオシャレで、写真撮影の小物として最高の演出になりますね。
スタッフさんも皆さん気さくに声をかけてくれ、バリスタの心のこもったコーヒーを味わいながら、笑顔を交わす時間がとても貴重な思い出になります。
ジバゴのテーマは米国ポートランドから生まれているそうですが、ぼくも数年前に行ったことがあり、町の環境整備が優れていて、自転車道が整備されていました(ジバゴのTシャツに自転車のデザインがあるのは、ここからかな)
また街にはカフェもたくさんあって、個性豊かなパブリックアートの街でした。
