A homey Italian Cuisine restaurant with a great view
Senaha, Yomitan Village, 2nd floor of an apartment on a hill along the road along the sea. This is an "Italian Cuisine" restaurant that I had known about for some time and was interested in. I was nearby during lunch time, so I decided to give it a try. When you enter the store, it's long and has only 10 counter seats. There is a terrace in the back that looks like an apartment's balcony, and there are counter seats. The best view overlooking the sea from the terrace seats! The restaurant is run by two women, and when I entered, the restaurant was packed with customers. However, most of the customers seem to be familiar faces, and the friendly atmosphere makes it difficult to get into at first glance. I decided to sit on the terrace in the back, across from the window. There are three types of lunch menu: ``Pasta,'' ``Pizza,'' and ``Meat.'' ``Pasta'' and ``Pizza'' can also be ordered as a set that includes ``Salad,'' ``Focaccia,'' and ``Dessert.'' I like that they use a lot of local ingredients. I ordered “Yomitan Red Potato and Anchovy Peperoncino” (900 yen each) from the “Today’s Recommendations” menu! ``Peperoncino'' has arrived, with purple ``red potatoes'' as an accent. The ``pasta'' is thin and finished without any soupiness. I thought that the "anchovies" were the deciding factor in the taste, but they just added salt and flavor and didn't overpower them. There are two types of toppings: chips and boiled red sweet potatoes, which also serve as flavorful accents. It was an elegant ``Peperoncino'' with a playful feel. I think it's a store that you'll probably feel even better if you get to know the people there. I would love to have dinner someday with a drink in a cozy atmosphere.

2nd floor of an apartment on a hill along the coast of Prefectural Route 6 in Senaha, Yomitan Village. A cozy Italian Cuisine restaurant where I've been to eat pasta before. This time I went again during lunch time. The inside of the store is long and small, with only counter seats and no more than 10 seats. In addition, there is terrace seating on the back veranda, which can probably seat about 4 people. The terrace seats offer the best view of the ocean, with Motobu Peninsula and Ie Island visible in the background. Perhaps due to the effects of the new coronavirus, it used to be run by two people, but this time it was run by just one person. There are three types of lunch menus: ``Pasta,'' ``Pizza,'' and ``Meat.'' ``Pasta'' and ``Pizza'' can also be ordered as a set that includes ``Salad,'' ``Focaccia,'' and ``Dessert.'' The overall price is around 1000 yen. I like that they use a lot of local ingredients. Last time I ordered "pasta", so this time I ordered the standard "margherita" (900 yen per item) from "pizza". I took a quick look at the kitchen, and found that most of the cooking utensils were for home use, and there was no pizza oven or large oven. Then, what came out was a small ``Margherita'' with no burnt ``dough''. The taste has a strong ``cheese'' flavor, and the ``dough'' feels handmade. All made at home! It was like ``pizza'' and it felt like I was eating it for the first time. When I looked at it later, it looked like it was made with something like a hot plate. It was delicious, but the pizza had a homemade feel to it, for better or for worse. This menu may be due to the homey feel of this restaurant.
