アートホテル石垣島のメインダイニング
オールデイダイニング「アクアリス」は朝食からランチ、ディナーをお届けする、ビュッフェ形式（個々盛り形式）のレストラン。 |
沖縄・石垣島の「オールデイダイニング アクアリス」。ユーグレナ石垣港離島ターミナルからクルマで５～６分の高台にある、アートホテル石垣島のメインダイニングです。
モーニング、ランチ、ディナーと文字どおり一日中活躍するレストランですが、この日はモーニングタイムに利用しました。
モーニングタイムはビュッフェスタイルで、時間は6:00～10:00。9:15が最終入店となります。ビジターでも利用でき、朝食付きプランの宿泊客以外は2,400円（中学生以上）でした。
北側が一面ガラス窓になっていて、緑豊かな庭園が眺めらるゆったりとした店内。テーブルは主に窓側に配置されていて、南側に大きなブッフェコーナーが設けれています。和洋中の料理がバランス良く用意されていますが、気になるのはやはり「沖縄朝食」コーナー。チャンプルーや八重山そば、ブルーシールのソフトクリームなど沖縄ならではの料理が並んでいるのを見ると、石垣の朝を実感できます。
一部だけですが日替わりのメニューもあるようなので、連泊しても飽きてしまうことはなさそうです。
面白いのは出口付近にサーターアンダギーとコーヒーがテイクアウト用に用意されていること。客室に持って帰っても、ホテル外に持ち出してレンタカードライブのお供にすることもOKという気の利いたサービスです。米国などではありがちなサービスですが、日本のホテルでは意外に珍しいかも。せっかくなのでとコーヒーを客室まで持ち出して、出発までの時間をゆっくりと楽しむことができました。
