せっかく観光に来たもんだから、石垣牛が食べたくて、
いろいろ検索したのですが、やっぱり高いんですよね。
そんな中、破格で石垣牛が食べられる月桃庵さんを発見。
ランチメニュー限定なのですが、
石垣牛のハンバーグランチが1200円で食べられるんです。
それ以外のメニューは、5倍もウン倍もするような肉を扱っているので、
おそらく、そういったいい肉をちゃんと、お手頃価格で提供しているのだと思います。
ハンバーグは10～15分くらい焼きあがるまで待つのですが、
シェフが、鉄板で焼き、オーブンで焼き、と丁寧に調理している様子は
期待値を上げてくれます。
「ハンバーグは真ん中からナイフで切って食べください」とシェフが言うのは、
端っこから食べると、肉汁が全て流れて行ってしまうからだそう。
言うとおり、真ん中から切り込みを入れると、
ジュワーっと肉汁が出てきてます。
テレビでよく見るようなあの映像と同じです。
味も絶品。
また石垣島を訪れたら、必ず行きます。
