水曜日の20:00に東梅田の『瓢亭』へ。
お初天神近くの裏通りにひっそり佇むお店。
かなり昔、会社の上司に飲み会の後に〆で連れて行ってもらった記憶があります。
恐らく15年以上前だった気がします。
「夕霧そば(1斤)(1,400円)」の冷たいそばをオーダー。
ちなみに温かいのも選べます。
10分後到着。
おぉ、見た目は真っ白なそば。
つゆには生卵が入っています。
薬味のネギ、大根おろし、ワサビをつゆに投入。
一口。美味い。
しっかり強いコシがある白いそば。
久しぶりにこれだけコシの強いそばを食べた気がします。
そしてフワッと広がる柚子の味と香り。
これがこの「夕霧そば」の特徴。
生卵が入ったつゆはそばによく絡み、最後のそば湯をいただくためのつゆがなくなりそうなので調整しつついただきます。
説明書きによると「柚子の表皮を細かくおろし、真白いそば粉に混ぜて特別入念に打った香り高いそば」とのこと。
1斤食べるとそれなりに腹が膨れました。
最後にそば湯をいただきフィニッシュ。
懐かしい味で美味しかったです。
