たまにはKYKと思い立ち、梅田へ。大阪ステーションシティ店は閉店になったので、3番街か32番街かどちらかと考え、眺めのいいという話の32番街へ足を運びました。
お昼前に到着しましたが、まだ正午になってなかったのですんなり入店、窓側のカウンター席へ通されました。このカウンター席がすこぶる景観が良くて、手前は関テレから遠くは生駒山までの眺望が広がります。もうこの眺望だけでお金取れるレベルですね。
程なくしてメニューを手渡してもらいましたが、土日もランチメニューを提供するようになったようです。ランチはロースカツとエビフライの組み合わせか、確かメンチカツか何かの組み合わせで、これにカレーやサラダなどのビュフェが付きます。
このランチ、税引きで880円くらい、税込みだと970円で、ビュフェサービスでカレーやサラダやお味噌汁、ご飯のおかわり可なのを踏まえると、かなり高コスパです。ロースカツとエビフライの組み合わせで注文し、まずキャベツの千切りが出てきました。それをムシャムシャ食べてると、お待ちかねのロースカツ登場です。
KYKはどちらかと言えば低温の油でじっくり揚げるタイプかな。衣は少し柔らかめでふっくらしています。クリスピー感は控えめですが、中のロース肉にはじっくり火が通り、肉と脂の甘味と旨味を上手に引き出しています。一尾のエビフライのためにタルタルソース別皿で多めに出してくれるのも嬉しいです。
お味噌汁は最初の一杯は追加料金を払うと豚汁にアップグレードできます。やっぱり豚汁も食べたいのでアプグレしました。おかげでお腹いっぱいになりましたが、それでもカレーは別腹なので気合入れてカレーライスを持ってきてもらいました。カレーだけでも、カレーライスの状態でも、どちらでも対応してもらえるようです(追記、ご飯とカレー、お味噌汁はセルフお代わり復活したもよう）。
これで970円。KYKさんってほんの少しだけお高いイメージありますが、サービス全体で捉えるとむしろお安いぐらいです。コロナ禍でいろいろ大変でしょうが、いろいろ対策も頑張っておられるようでした。ぜひ皆さんも足を運んでみてください。
