This is my personal opinion. I suddenly jumped in after work. There are two Tsurutontan restaurants in Kitashinchi, but I have never been to either of them, so this was my first visit. I believe it originated in Minami, Osaka, but udon is different from the chewy Sanuki-style noodles and Osaka udon noodles. Order "Tsuru Ton Tan Zanmai" @ 1,830 yen Tsuru Ton Tan has been working on unusual menus for a long time, and many people from overseas visit because of the wide variety of unusual menu items. The appearance and Japanese style may also be a factor. The taste is a little sweet. The taste of the meat toppings may have melted into the soup stock. The noodles are not as chewy as the recently popular Sanuki udon, but have just the right amount of chewiness. Next time I would like to try Curry Udon. Thank you for the meal.
