Visited on 2024-03-07: From JR Osaka station, it takes about 15 minutes to get there on foot. Actually, the exact time is unknown because we got lost inside the Kintetsu building and in the underground mall... We moved around while looking at Google Maps, but it was tough because GPS accuracy is poor inside buildings and in underground malls.... The restaurant consists of table seating. You are guided by the waiter to sit down, look at the menu, order, and take the slip to the cashier to pay when you leave the restaurant. There is a teppan on the table. I thought I would have to cook the okonomiyaki myself since the instructions for making okonomiyaki were posted on the table, but they brought the okonomiyaki that had been cooked by the restaurant to the teppan. I was happy because it tastes better when it is cooked by a professional. The sauce, mayonnaise, etc. were added on the spot after being brought to the table, so you could specify if you wanted no mayonnaise, etc. at that time. This time, I ordered the okonomiyaki Japanese pork ball + fried egg, and Japanese pork and green onion yaki, and additionally ordered teppan Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), Japanese beef doteyaki, and Osaka green onion Gyoza / Dumpling. For the pork ball, I chose to leave out the mayonnaise for personal preference. The pork balls are cooked through to the inside and fluffy. The harmony of chopped cabbage, red ginger, pork and sauce was excellent. The pork negi yaki is slightly loosely grilled, but the konjak accents give it a nice texture, and the tapping of the negi is delicious. Teppan Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) is full of pork, squid, and vegetables with a good amount of sauce. The sauce is not too spicy, not too sweet, and has a perfect balance. I hadn't had Doteyaki in about 10 years, and it was great with tender beef and just the right amount of miso flavor. Osaka Negi Gyoza / Dumpling has a distinctive flavor with green onions in the bean paste. It was also fresh to eat it with ponzu. All the menu items were delicious and satisfying. And there are still so many delicious dishes that I want to try all of them.
