I went to Boulangerie Bourdigala in Nishi Umeda, Osaka. It is a bakery with a cafe attached and is one of the top 100 bread shops. I stopped by in the morning and they were offering a morning service, so I ordered a croissant or pain au chocolat, and a choice of coffee or tea for 528 yen. The bread is warmed to the right temperature in the oven. It was a delicious pain au chocolat with super thin pie crust wrapped around layers of chocolate.
