ホテルでゆっくりお茶でもしたいと思い、こちらのお店を友人から教えてもらい、利用しました。
1日8組限定のアフタヌーンティープラン(4800円)です。
ホテルの内装は中世ヨーロッパをイメージしたアンティークな印象で、梅田にいることを忘れさせてくれます。時期的にハロウィンでもあり、装飾もそれに合わせたものになっていました。
たまたま利用客が1組であったのか、広めの空間に私たち1組だけでとても静かでした。
プランの内容としては
セイボリーは
バケットサンド、ミニカップスープ、キッシュ
スイーツは
カヌレ、カットフルーツ、ムース、ガトーショコラ、チョコレートクッキー
タルト、ミニシュークリーム、スコーン
でした。
時期によって内容は異なるようです。
飲み物は数種類ある紅茶から、マルコポーロ、ボレロを選びました。
すぐにやってきました。
バケットサンドはサーモンや生ハムが入っていて、冷めてはいますがポタージュスープにも合います。
小さいキッシュはほうれん草などが入っていました。
スイーツは上で書いてあるようなもので、どれもアフタヌーンティーらしく、小ぶりで可愛らしいものばかりです。ただ、印象に残るほどの好みのスイーツに出会えませんでした。
紅茶2種類はマルコポーロはベリー系、ボレロは桃やアプリコットの風味で、ポッドで温かくいただきました。
店員が頻繁にくることもなく、ゆったりと紅茶とスイーツが楽しめたのは良かったのですが、紅茶は美味しいものの、やはりアフタヌーンティーとしてのお値段はしますので、それなりの対価を求めてしまうところではあります。
そのため評価が普通ではありますが、金銭的に余裕があるなら、会話も紅茶もスイーツも楽しめるホテルでのアフタヌーンティーという贅沢な時間を買うという意味ではありかなと思いました。
