Osaka style favorite
Okonomiyaki at a reasonable price near Kitashinchi. Tenguyaki and tengusoba are recommended. This shop is located on the basement floor opposite Hotel Elserene along Yotsubashi-suji. It's underground so it's quite a hidden gem. You can't go wrong with the taste of Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles).
Tengusoba & bean sprouts stir-fried with ponzu sauce
This Okonomiyaki restaurant is located near Dojima Avanza on Yotsubashi-suji towards Higobashi from Nishi-Umeda Station. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy Osaka-style Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles). Tengusoba is Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) with squid, shrimp, octopus, pork, and egg. The chewy noodles are delicious. Stir-fried bean sprouts with ponzu sauce. It goes perfectly with beer. Draft beer costs 450 yen, which is quite reasonable for the Kitashinchi area, and since it's underground, I use it as a hideaway.
大阪お好み焼きを新地でリーズナブルに
桃谷が本拠の本格的な大阪のお好みです。
お好みも焼きそばもかなり美味ですが、リーズナブルでもあり、ビールを飲みながらは最高です。
イカキムチも相当おいしいです。
北新地にほど近い場所にありながらリーズナブルに美味しい粉もんが食べられます。

A reasonably priced Okonomiyaki restaurant that is relatively easy to get into in the Kitashinchi area. It's hidden underground in front of the Elsereine Hotel along Yotsubashi-suji. The standard dishes are squid kimchi, stir-fried bean sprouts with ponzu sauce, and this time, tenguyaki. Tenguyaki is highly satisfying with lots of toppings to choose from.
