This is the traditional taste of Botejyu
Hankyu Umeda Main Store is a long-established department store that was founded in 1929 as the world's first terminal department store directly operated by a railway company. It has been undergoing re |
A taste that reminds me of my childhood. Boteju's pork soba. I was looking forward to eating it in Restaurants area after shopping with my mother at Kintetsu Department Store. I wanted to eat pork soba, so I went in. There was a lunch menu, but I'm not used to Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) and Okonomiyaki with white rice, so I'd like to order pork soba by itself. Counter seats surrounding the hot plate. This time, I was in front of the chef. My seat was a little bit oily. In the past, they would ask me if I wanted it mild or spicy. Now they don't ask me at all? The appeal is the thick pork! The thick noodles!? The cabbage is boiled in hot water and then fried... It's changed. When it's done, it's brought to the front of the table. The thick noodles and thick pork are the same, but... Ah, this is it! It's no longer the taste I remember. I wonder if I can't eat it anymore?
