梅田の新御堂沿い、JRを越えた東側になか卯がありました。
こんなところになか卯があったんだな。
なか卯は牛丼チェーン店の４番手です。牛丼メインで行くと大手に太刀打ちできないし、同じゼンショーのすき家ともかぶってしまうので、牛丼以外の丼や麺類に力を入れてます。
メニューを見るとカツ丼があります。なか卯ってカツ丼もやってたんだ。
カツ丼を食べてみましょう。
自販機でカツ丼並の食券 590円を購入してカウンターに座り、お姉さんに食券を渡します。あれ？ なか卯って食券を買うと厨房にそのまま指示が飛ぶんじゃなかったっけ？ この店は人に頼る部分が残ってます。
やってきました。
では、いつものカツの厚さチェック。
おおっ！ 想像より2割り増しです。
以前、ガストのゴーゴーカレーのうすカツの薄さにビックリ仰天した経験があるので、想像より厚いと、それがわずかであってもうれしいものです。
あ、肉が軟らかいけど、肉汁が抜けきってる。肉感が無くなって繊維を束ねたものを食べているようです。
丼つゆが、濃いっ！ このまま、もう一杯ご飯を追加して食べてもいけそうなぐらい塩辛いです。あれ、なか卯って関西発祥の会社じゃなかったっけ？ 東京の資本の系列に入ってしまって、味が塩辛く、東京の方言で言うところのしょっぱくなってしまったのでしょうか。
