数多い大阪梅田の居酒屋の中でも、板さんの腕に定評のある店です。朝の開店時からいつも賑わっていますが、今回は昼のピークが落ち着く時刻だったからか、待つことなく入店することができました。
午前中すでに、ビール、日本酒、焼酎ロックをいただいていましたので、ここは振出しに戻って今一度ビールとします。キリン・スプリングヴァレー豊潤が置かれていたので、迷わずこれを注文しました。何度目かの乾杯を交わした後は、少しばかりペースダウン。ゆっくりビールを味わいながら、軽めの肴をいただきました。
初夏の今が旬の水茄子は、その名の通りの瑞々しい一皿。ほとんど手を加えることなく、茄子の美味しさをそのままいただきます。子持ちこんにゃくというのは初めて出会った酒肴ですが、ぷちぷちした食感がとても気に入りました。調べてみたところ、この粒々はししゃもの魚卵とかで、広島の名物なのだそうです。
3軒目ということもあって、最初に申し上げたような板さんの腕を存分に発揮する料理を味わうことはできませんでしたが、この店の実力は十分に感じることができました。次はもう少し落ち着いた状態で、ゆっくり杯を傾けてみたいものです。
