北新地堂島アバンザの近くのシャンパンバル、ちょっとしたトラブルで3名で予約していたお店に行けなくなり急遽通りすがりでふらっと伺いました。
フレンチ風の焼き鳥をメインにグラスでシャンパーニュを約5種類くらい楽しめてもちろんボトルも充実しています。

軽く前菜と焼き鳥を頼んだだけなのですがお料理がなかなかのクオリティーで、なかでもフレンチ焼き鳥がかなり面白くて楽しめました。
店員さんおすすめの蓋のついたガラスの器で瞬間薫製されたとりむねは、蓋を開けると閉じ込められた燻煙があふれて良い香り。
ラルドで巻かれたせせりの焼き鳥は、焼き鳥と言ってしまうのが申し訳ない立派なフレンチの一皿に仕上がっています。
ただ残念なのはお料理を出す順番がいまいち考えられていないのか、せせりなどのインパクトの強い料理の後に淡白なとりむねを持って来るのはどうかと思いました。
メインディッシュの後に前菜が出て来たような違和感で物足りない味に感じて美味しく頂けなかったのですが、おそらく順番が違えば印象が違ったのではないかと思います。
こちらのお店の売りでもあるシャンパーニュがグラスでいろいろと飲み比べ出来るのは贅沢で、テタンジェはエレガントで気品がありニコラ・フィアット(ブルーラベル)は力強い泡が食欲をそそりどちらも美味しかったです。
楽しいのですが呑み助はどうしても酒代が割高になってしまいお支払時に若干酔いが醒めました(笑)
メニューに載っていないおすすめされたロゼのグラスが…(驚)貴族の飲み物でした！さすが新地！普段飲むボトルの値段と変わらない…(汗)
庶民はちゃんと値段は聞いてから頼まないとと久しぶりに良い勉強をさせて頂きました。
次回来るなら19時までのハッピー泡～に来て財布を気にせずガブ飲みさせて頂こうと心に誓いました。
