チャオチャオ大阪駅前第3ビル店は、大阪駅前第3ビル地下2階のグルメ街にあるお店で、「餃々」と書いて「チャオチャオ」と読ませます。
その名の通り餃子専門店で、大阪名物の一口餃子が売りです。大阪を中心に全国展開しているチェーン店のようで、大阪ではよく見かけます。
餃子専門店とは言っても「餃子の王将」とか「大阪王将」のように中華料理には振れておらず、酒のあてとしての餃子が楽しめます。
とはいえ、ランチメニューは豊富で、お昼時になるとお食事もいただけるお店です。
ランチメニューは主に定食で、餃子以外のメニューが豊富です。
この日は日替わり定食（900円）をいただきました。豚肉のステーキでした。
ご飯は大盛り無料です。
御飯の上に目玉焼きが乗っていたり、小鉢が何個か付いていたりと、おかず類が豊富なのが嬉しいです。
日替わり定食のメインディッシュである豚肉のステーキも、注文を受けてから丁寧に焼いていて、出来たての熱々がいただけました。
店内はカウンター席とテーブル席があります。どちらかと言うと少人数向けです。
わたしの家の近くにもこのチャオチャオの店舗があるのですが、そちらは一人呑みを歓迎しており、そういう雰囲気はどの店舗も共通しているのかもしれません。この大阪駅前第3ビル店も、カウンターで一杯やるのにはちょうど良さそうです。
