中津駅近辺でランチに訪問、このあたりはカレーの店が多いですが、こらちは東南アジア料理の人気店です。辛いエスニック料理ではなく、辛くない定食メニューがメインです。平日昼でしたが、少し並びました。店内は、ゆったりしたカフェ風の落ち着いた雰囲気です。
メニューは三種類、カオマンガイプレート、本日のご飯は豚そぼろ丼、本日のヌードルとあります。初めてで迷ったらメニューの先頭を頼むというマイルールにより、カオマンガイプレートにしました。
炊き込みチキンライス、柔らかい茹で鶏、パクチーです。酸味のあるオリジナルのタレとタイのチリソースで味付け、味変です。そもそも、本場タイ料理を食べたことないので本格的かはわからないけど、日本人に合わせているのかあまりクセもなく、丁寧な作りでなかなか美味しかったです。スープや小鉢、フルーツまで付いて950円、このご時世千円以内でランチが食べれる店は有り難いです。この内容で夜のメニューが何なのか気になるお店です。
