槙の
（大阪市北区・北新地）
久しぶりに新地に行ってみよう。大和証券のビルの横手辺りから、くねくねと新地に入り込んでいく。もう、営業自粛の騒ぎはどこへやら、夜のお店は昼には営業しないという本来の姿に戻っている。したがって、開いている店はあまりない。
そろそろ決めないとと思ってたら、
和牛肉たまことじ定食
という文字が黒板に書かれている。「たまこ」とじである。怖いもの見たさに、2階への階段を上る。
中の様子はさっぱり分からない店だが、黒板の記載によれば1000円なので臆することなくドアを開ける。先客は一人だけ。静かな時間を過ごせそう。
「何にされます？」
「たまごとじで」
「ご飯の量は？ 普通と大とありますが。」
「普通で」
そうして待つこと５分くらいかな。いろいろ乗ったお膳が運ばれてくる。わ、ご飯の量多い！
「私が食いしん坊やから、ついつい盛っちゃうねん」
そんな店に悪い店はない。
たまことじは案の定たまごとじだったようで、柔らかい牛肉がふんだんにとじられている。お造りは、「お造り付」というようなおまけ感はなく、これもまた「いいなと思ったもの」を仕入れて出している－と勝手に予想してるのだが、そんなクオリティ。
これに、冷奴、塩昆布、澄まし汁が付いて1000円也。静かな、しかしほっこりとした時間であった。
「そこにある飴、好きなだけ持ってってねー」
と言われると１個しかいただけない（笑）。（2022.9.16）
