Enjoying food and drinks at Kin no Hana's all-you-can-eat Chinese food @ Higashi Umeda
I visited around 7pm on a weekday in August 2023. About 3 minutes walk from Higashi Umeda Station. Kin no Hana is a Chinese Restaurants located on the second basement floor of Osaka Station Building 3. There were about 10 customers in the reasonably sized store. Once you tell them you have a reservation, you will be shown to a round table. On this day, 7 people enjoyed the ``140-item buffet + all-you-can-drink course'' for ¥3,800. First, we toast with a mug of Asahi Super Dry and drink beer. Quench your thirst with beer with an orthodox taste. Assorted appetizers: A plate with 3 types of assorted menma, char siu, and drool chicken. A good platter to go with beer. I love the authentic flavor of the char siu. The drool chicken has a cheap finish, but you can enjoy the pleasant spiciness. Mapo tofu: The mapo tofu is made with plenty of diced tofu and is not very spicy, but it does have a slight Japanese pepper flavor. The sweet sauce has just the right thickness and is easy to eat. The taste made me want rice. Bones: A dish of tenderly stewed spare ribs with chopped green onions. The seasoning is just the right amount of soy sauce, and it's not too strong, so you won't get tired of eating it. A nice snack to go with beer. I love the deep flavor. Homemade fried Gyoza / Dumpling: These grilled Gyoza / Dumpling look delicious. Gyoza / Dumpling eaten with vinegar and soy sauce has just the right amount of sweetness in the filling, making it simple yet delicious. Gyoza / Dumpling have extremely thick skin and are well-cooked, so you won't get tired of eating them. The first thing you should order at this restaurant is the fried Gyoza / Dumpling. Double-pot meat: Double-pot meat with plenty of cabbage. When I tried it, it tasted different from the double-pot meat I expected. The impression is that it lacks richness and flavor, perhaps because there is a lot of bean sauce and less of sweet soy sauce and bean paste. Although it was satisfying to eat, it left a very disappointing impression. Sweet and sour pork: Sweet and sour pork has a good balance of fried pork, onions, green peppers, and carrots, and the sweet and sour flavor is just right. Enjoy classic sweet and sour pork that is not fancy. You can pair it with beer, but switch to ``lemon sour'' and enjoy the sour combination. I thoroughly enjoyed the sweet and sour pork while enjoying the texture of the onions. Bar Bar Chicken: Enjoy steamed chicken with thinly sliced cucumber and sesame sauce. Although the flavor of the sauce is a little strong, this stick chicken is satisfying to eat. I want the chicken to be a little more juicy. The crunchy texture of the cucumber makes it a nice snack to go with alcohol. It feels good to eat while drinking "Ume Sour". Plum sour with a slightly sweet taste is a drink that you can drink endlessly. Xiaolongbao: The good-sized Xiaolongbao is a dish that can only be ordered once on the all-you-can-eat menu. Everyone enjoys the piping hot soup and filling inside the skin. It's been a long time since I tried the classic Xiaolongbao, and it was really delicious. The flavor of meat is always great. Green Pepper Meat Thread: Green pepper meat string with a good balance of ingredients with a lot of bamboo shoots. The flavor is not too strong, making it easy to eat, and you can enjoy the texture while enjoying it. Salted plum and green pepper meat is also good as a snack with alcohol. A hearty and satisfying dish. Sara udon: Sara udon with mostly vegetables. The filling is loose and a little chewy, but the seasoning is not bad. Chinese cabbage, carrots, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and chives are cooked just the right amount and have an enjoyable texture. The flavor of the vegetables adds to the crispy noodles, giving it a nice flavor at the end. Mango jelly: Enjoy mango jelly at the end of your all-you-can-eat meal. Although the taste is cheap, this dessert has a nice mango flavor. I dare say it tastes this good. I enjoyed eating various Chinese Cuisine until I was full and drinking a lot of alcohol. "Kin no Hana" is a good place to have a banquet with friends in the station building. There was a convenient Chinese Cuisine restaurant there.

2024年3月のとある平日の19時過ぎに訪ねた。
東梅田駅からは徒歩3分ほど。大阪駅前第3ビルの地下2階にある中華レストラン「金の華」。
程好い広さの店内は7割方客で埋まっていた。
予約していたので、テーブル席に9名で利用。
この日は「140品オーダーバイキング+飲み放題コース」¥4,000を利用。以前に比べて微妙に値段が上がっていた。
「アサヒスーパードライ」の生ビールで乾杯をして料理を注文する。
前菜盛り:冷製カモ肉、よだれ鶏、大根の漬物の前菜3種盛り。カモ肉は程好い風味と塩気が心地好い。よだれ鶏は厚みのある茹で鶏に辛いソースがかかっている。酸味と甘みを感じる漬物とよだれ鶏のバランスが良い感じ。
若鶏の唐揚げ:衣がカリカリに仕上がっている若鶏の唐揚げはそれなりに良い味わい。下味はそれほど付いていないので、味わいとしてアッサリした印象。塩胡椒で食べるのも良い唐揚げをビールと共に満喫した。
自家製手作り焼き餃子:食べやすいサイズの焼き餃子が美しく並んでいる。まずは酢胡椒で食べてみるが、餡の甘みを引き立てて良い味わいであった。酢胡椒に醤油を垂らして塩気を加えて食べるのも良い。万人受けする味の餃子がこの店にはある。
油淋鶏:たっぷりの生野菜の上に揚げた鶏肉を乗せて甘辛いタレで仕上げた油淋鶏。刻みネギに合わせて食べると良い塩梅。カリカリに揚げた鶏肉にはもうちょっとジューシーさが欲しいところ。キャベツの千切りと一緒に食べられるのは嬉しい。
五目焼きそば:上海焼きそばのような仕上がりの五目焼きそば。ソース焼きそばではなくほんのりオイスターソースの風味を感じる上品な一品。海老、キクラゲ、キャベツといった具材が美味しく味わえるような程好い炒め加減が嬉しい。
フカヒレあんかけ炒飯:玉子炒飯にたっぷりの餡をかけた一皿。フカヒレっぽさはそれほど感じないが、海老やエノキが入って心地好い旨味を感じる。優しい味わいの中にフカヒレらしき食感が楽しめるあんかけ炒飯。
玉ねぎと豚肉炒め:豚肉、玉ねぎにキクラゲ、ピーマン、ニンジンも加えて炒めている一品。たっぷりの玉ねぎは程好い食感で味わえる。ほんのりとろみがついて塩加減のちょうど良い炒め物は永遠に食べられそうな料理。
ビールと共に色んな中華料理を楽しんだ「金の華」。4,000円で良い感じの中華料理の食べ飲み放題が出来るのは嬉しい限り。
