「熊の焼鳥」の新業態のお店。薪と炭を組み合わせた焼き場が各テーブルにあって、雰囲気は良い。5,500円のコースに2,000円の飲み放題コースを付けたが、これらとは別に薪代(?)として一人500円が必要。テーブルチャージだと思えばそうなんだけど、アラカルトならともかく、個人的には「6,000円のコース」と設定してくれた方がスッキリと感じるんだけど、そういう訳にはいかない理由(理屈?)が何かあるのかな?
「熊の焼鳥」は長年の試行錯誤を経て「高級焼鳥」のステイタスを確立したけど、こちらは肩肘張らずに楽しめる雰囲気。店員さん達の接客はフレンドリーでありながら丁寧で、気持ちが良い。
料理は厨房で調理した刺身、タタキの他にテーブルの焼き場で店員さんが目の前で直接調理してくれたり、客がセルフで焼肉のように網の上で焼く「鳥焼」などバリエーション豊富で楽しい。〆の釜飯は炭の香りが付いた鶏飯で量もたっぷり提供される。デザートはぜんざいでホッコリ。
飲み放題は種類が豊富だったものの、この日はクマフトビール(クラフトビール)が品切れだったのは残念無念。
格安居酒屋チェーン店も悪くないけど、時にはちょっと背伸びした気分を味わいたい場合には最適なお店ではないでしょうか。
