So, I went to one of the ‘so-called’ best Italian restaurants in Osaka for my own Xmas dinner, after hard working on Saturday just to relax and have fun. And the result was such a mess.
They served foods as quickly as they could, like you’ll have no time to relax and enjoy conversations or drinks. I was alone so keeping my mouth shut, but I saw they served the main dish before someone barely finished her pasta.
Around that time, I’d already been annoyed because the waiter came and ask if I wanted espresso after dessert, only 50-60mins after I started dinner! And it happened during one dish ahead of the main. They served that fast, like pushing customers to finish dinner as aoon as possible.
These things made me very upset because it’s so rude since they call themselves a ‘renowned’ restaurant. So I called the waitress and complained, and she just repeated ‘sorry because this is a Xmas dinner’.
And I was like, you didn’t have to do that ‘BECAUSE’ it was a Xmas dinner!
Also, there were options for pastas and desserts on the menu, but they just served randomly without asking.
And when I was going to leave the restaurant, nobody came to apologize so I called the manager and complained again.
They ruined my Xmas weekend. Overpriced and overrated. Food was great, but I’ll never go back there again.
ソースをパンにつけて食べてる最中に次の皿が出てきて、これはヤバいかも、って思ってたらやっぱり。
他にももうちょっとゆっくり出してくれない、って頼んでる客がいたのに、一斉出しなので、の一点張り。だったらゆっくり食べてる客に合わせて出せよ。誰も急いでねーし。
ちなみにあれだけ急いで出してきたのに、パスタの表面が少し乾いてた。
料理を出すペースが早すぎる、ってウェイトレスにクレーム入れたら、クリスマスディナーで2時間制なので、ってまだ1時間強しかたってませんけど。もちろんシェフが出てきて謝ることもなく。
クレーム出したのがメインの後だったんだけど、ビビったのか今度はデザートが一向に出てこない始末。ちなみにおひとり様だと、パスタとデザートのオプションは勝手に向こうが決めるよう、てか何も聞かれずそうされた。
クリスマスの週末土曜なのに空席あり、も納得の横暴さ。料理はおいしかった。でも外食、って値段にかかわらずそれが全てじゃない。
自分的外食道の完全黒歴史。２度と行かない。
