堺筋の北浜交差点から、モスバーガー 北浜店を越えた狭い道、通称「浮世小路」を東へ2ブロック目に立地。
近くの今橋通りには、エズ 北浜店があり、北浜 よし田と同じブロックにあります。
この店を浮世小路に沿って東へ少し行けば、フレンチの有名店ラ・トォルトゥーガもある飲食店激戦区。
かなり以前に晩に寄ったことがあるくらいだが、よく「Meets」などのオムライス特集などで紹介されているので、それ目当てにランチ時に久しぶりの再訪。
付近のOLさんやリーマンで賑わっています。
店内は比較的狭く、入口左手にテーブル席が2卓ほど、中央に眺めのテーブル席、更に右手には壁から浮世小路側の窓を伝うようにL字型にテーブル席が幾つか配置されています。
入口から奥かキッチンで、シェフの姿が良く見えず。
ホールパートのお姉さん2人で切り盛り。
フレッシュサラダが付いて、チーズオムライス\950。
CP的にはチト高い。
まずは、フレッシュサラダから。
サラダ菜、トマト、オニオンスライスに、クルトンと粉チーズがかかっていて容器ごと冷たい状態でサーブされます。
量は、小振りです。
殆どのお客さんが、名物のチーズオムライスを注文し、一度にオーブンで調理できるロットの関係からか、場合によってはかなり待たされます。
同じ頃に直前に入店したOLさん組には運ばれてきましたが、自分の分はどうやら次のロットになったようです。
中央のテーブルに合席で座っていましたが、後からやって来た団塊世代のオッちゃんは、待ちぼうけでコックリコックリ、舟を扱き始めています(^_^;)
やっとのことで出来上がったオムライスが、アツアツの鉄板で出てきます。
イタリアン・チーズの王様と言われる、パルミジャーノ・レッジャーノの塊がワゴンに乗って、先ほどのお姉さんが、スプーンでチーズをすくって盛り付けてくれます。
「別にワゴンが通るのがやっとの狭い店内でせんでも、キッチンで装ってくれたらエエやん!」と思うのはヤボでしょう、これがこの店のパフォーマンスなんですから・・・
月島スペインクラブで出来立てのパエリアのフライパンを見せて回るのと被ります。
前振りの割には、食べた感じ「メチャクチャ旨い!」と唸るほどでもなく、至って普通で店名通り「ダーク」な感じ。
サーブのお姉さんと親しくなって、「プラス盛り」してもらうくらいに通い詰めれば感じ方も変わるかも?!
\750くらいが妥当な線か、この価格のままならドリンク付などのサービスがほしい。
