大阪メトロ北浜駅の5番出口より歩いて5分ほど。
平日の11時15分に到着。
まだ早かったので残三席で待ち無しで座れましたが、5分もしないうちに満席になっていました。
メニューを頼む前に店主さんより説明が。初めての人は、キーマカレーかミックスカレーの2択で、辛さに問題がなければ2回目以降は他のメニューもオーダーできるとのこと。
辛いの好きなので、レッドミックスにしたかったのですが、ルール通りキーマカレーとベジタブルカレーのミックスカレーをオーダーしました。
料理が到着すると、また店主さんより食べ方の説明が。
真ん中に乗っかってるししとうを左手で齧りながら右手でカレーを交互に食べるとのこと。左利きなので逆にしましたが。笑
その通りにまずはししとうを一齧りしてからカレーを一口。
スパイスの香りとナッツの風味が複雑に絡み合った奥深いカレーです。ガツンとくる美味しさではありませんが、あとからじわじわとくる美味しさ。
セットで付いてくるマンゴージュースともよくあいます。
辛さはやはり少し物足りなかったですが、それは次回の楽しみにしたいと思います。
