本町〜肥後橋の間には美味しいお店が揃っているといつも思います。洋菓子のお店としては、このエリアにおいてこちらは最高評価。
フランス風の店舗の外観は期待を高めてくれます。店内に入ると生菓子と焼き菓子が揃って出迎えてくれます。外出中のため生菓子を買う事は叶わず、今回は日持ちする焼き菓子を購入しました。
バニラ・キッフェル
→シンプルなクッキー、レモンビール入っていて仄かな甘酸っぱさがあって美味しい。
ガトーセック5
→パウンドケーキやマドレーヌを中心とした焼き菓子のセット。伝統的なフランス焼き菓子だが、美味しさは頭抜けている印象。少し甘めのマドレーヌがお気に入り。
実力のあるお店が作る、シンプルな焼き菓子。それでも期待を超えてくる驚きを提供してくれることに実力を感じます。素晴らしいお店だと感じました。
そのため、今回生菓子を買えなかったことが残念…ぜひ次回はケーキを買ってみたいと思います。
