大阪市北区 天神橋筋五丁目の交差点を西へちょっと入ったところにあるたこ焼き屋さん。
かなり有名なお店で、レビュー時の食べログ評価点が3.72ある。
以前から知っていたのだが、営業中だいたい行列しているのでチャンスがなかった。
今回、ちょうど行列の途切れ目にあたった。
たこ焼きは8個480円が最小単位。
お店の前の焼台で二人ぐらいの店員さんが焼いている。
店内は5つテーブルが有る。ビールと一緒にたこ焼きを楽しんでいる人が目立った。
たこ焼きは最初、何もつけずに運んできてくれる。
海苔もソースもついておらず、そのまま。
けっこう味がついているようだ。
表面はサクッとちょっと硬さがあり、中はふんわり。
聞いた話だと二度焼きしてこの食感を出しているそうな。
生地の甘さとか旨味とか、そういうのを味わうのにいい具合なんだろうな。
とはいえソース好きとしては、かけてからが本番である。
ベッタリしすぎない程度に塗っていただく。
ちょっと塗ったくらいではサクッと感は消えない。
明石焼きでもない、大阪のいわゆるとろっと感でもない、わりと独自の味かな。
天満の名物、雰囲気込みで楽しませていただいた。
