Visited in March 2020 ◎ Tabelog 3.30 points at the time of posting (Number of reviews: 35) After eating delicious Ramen in Miyakojima, I was planning to change trains at Tenroku and return home... but before I knew it, I had gotten off on the way (^o^;) I was in the mood for some horse sashimi, so I decided to go to Tenroku Oendan Katsuo. Katsuo-san is a popular restaurant for fried chicken, but they also have horse sashimi, which is surprisingly delicious♪ What I ate today was like this (≧∇≦)b *************** *************************************** ◆Dashi (edamame) 330 yen ◆Namachu (Premol) 180 yen ◆Lemon chuhai with plenty of fruit juice 330 yen ◆Horse sashimi 680 yen Directly delivered from Kumamoto ◆Fried seseri 480 yen ************************** ************************** ◆Lemon chuhai with plenty of fruit juice It has a fair amount of cut lemon in it, and the lemon juice is definitely strong and delicious. ♪ ◆Horse sashimi I came here to eat this today~♪ I ate horse sashimi and sakura yukhoe at Hankyu Umeda Oendan store before and it was surprisingly delicious ( ´∀｀ )b Fresh horse sashimi delivered directly from Kumamoto. I guess it wasn't fully thawed when it came out, but it was a bit iced (^o^;) I had it with sweet soy sauce, ginger and green onions. ◆Fried Seseri Karaage It's quite a portion for one person to eat! It was juicy with the springy texture unique to seseri, and had a nice touch of fat (^∇^) If the appetizer was 330 yen, I would have been able to refuse and order a different menu. Most of the major chain restaurants seem to allow you to refuse otoshi if you request it. I haven't tried saying it yet, so I can't verify whether it's true or not. The drinks were also cheap, so I thought it would cost less than 2,000 yen, but it ended up costing a little more than 2,160 yen. Thank you for the meal.
