天満橋駅のすぐ近くにある創業昭和28年の老舗高級料亭。玄関前を通りかかるといつも気になっていたお店。
ちょうどランチの時間帯なので、思い切って玄関を覗くとランチセットがあるらしい。それも天丼が1000円。それは行かなくては。^_^
流石に高級そうな料亭なので門構えも前庭も綺麗に整えられている。打ち水が撒かれ清々しい気分になる。
店内は長く幅広いカウンターのみ。すでに半分くらいは先客あり。ゆったりとしたカウンターで熱いお茶を啜りながら天丼を待つ。なんか気分が良い。
目の前で年輩の職人さんが、背筋をピンと伸ばして天ぷらを揚げている。ランチなのに贅沢な空間である。パチパチと油の跳ねる音が響いている。
熱々の天丼が配膳されると、イカ2貫ならぬ海老２匹。野菜もしっかり入って出汁も濃過ぎずちょっと甘目の薄味でちょうど良い。
あ〜、ゆったりとカウンターの天丼もいいものだ。
