クリスマスイブの夜、さすがに洋でしょうと、谷町あたりを訪ね歩きましたが、どこも予約で断られ、こりゃ無理かなと歩いていると、このお店に通りかかりました。
おそるおそる聞くと、ＯＫ。
穏やかそうなイケメンシェフに導かれてカウンターに。
清潔な気持ちのよい調度です。
スペインバルですが、イタリアンも加わります。
メニューは豊富というほどではありませんが、一通りは揃っています。
タパス、ピンチョス、パスタ、パエージャなど。
アンチョビポテト、オリーブのにんにくマリネ、マドリッド風にんにくスープ、鯛のカルパッチョをお願いし、生ビールとスパークリンワインで始めます。
カウンターで、調理の様子を見ながらいただくのが好きなのです。
迷惑ですかと聞くと、うれしいとの返事、いいですね！
調理がとても丁寧です。
惚れ惚れするほどです。
これも味の内です。
オリーブをニンニクで炒めて！さらに冷やすという手間。
生ハムや野菜も細かく刻んで炒めて、ソースを作ってオーブンで温めて、絡めて仕上げるという、たいへんな手間です。
カルパッチョも、芸術的なほどに美しく仕上げます。
調理に使っている生ハムが美味しそうなので、固まりから少しスライスしてもらいましたが、さすがに目が効いており、味わい深く、臭みは全くありません。
良いものは日本には少なく、現地から取り寄せているとのことでした。
魚貝のパスタに白ワインを合わせていただきました。
スペイン風オムレツはお店の自慢、せひ、食べてみてくださいと。
これだけを食べに来るお客さんもあるとのこと。
まるまるで、フワフワで、ジャガイモやソーセージも入って、結構なお味でした。
それぞれの量は少な目です。
その分、いろいろ食べられます。
これだけ丁寧に手をかけて、極めてリーズナブルな値段でした。
官庁街にあるだけに、さすがに祝日は客も少ないのでしょうが、普段は盛り上がっているのでしょうね。
気持ちのいい、いいお店でした。
