Niigata Prefecture's specialty "Hegi soba and sea bream rice" @ "Shunsen Kurobuta Hegi soba Osaka Zen"
I went to ``Shunsen Kurobuta Hegisoba Osaka Zen'' near Tanimachi 4-chome Station on the Osaka Metro. ``Zen'' is a brand of Horimoto Shoji Co., Ltd., which operates more than 20 restaurant mainly in Tokyo. I chose "Hegi soba and sea bream rice" (950 yen). A raw egg was placed on each table as part of the service, but I refrained from eating it because the taimeshi also comes with a raw egg. Hegi soba is a specialty of Niigata prefecture. Hegi soba is a type of soba that uses Funori as a binder. Usually, it is bundled into bite-sized sards and served, but it was served normally and topped with fried eggs. (ﾟдﾟ) Yummy!! Miso soup, rice, and this is the soup stock with raw egg for sea bream rice. 4 pieces of sea bream sashimi. I thought I would eat taimeshi by putting sashimi on rice and pouring hot soup stock over it, but there was no stock. Apparently, sashimi is mixed in dashi with raw eggs, stirred, and eaten by pouring it over rice. It's like a luxurious egg-cooked rice with sea bream sashimi. (ﾟдﾟ)Yummy! (ﾟдﾟ)Yummy!! (ﾟдﾟ)Yummy!!! Hot or iced coffee is self-service. You can get refills of rice and miso soup, and the service is perfect. It is located on the 2nd floor of the Chuo Tanimachi Building. I went again to ``Shunsen Kurobuta Hegisoba Osaka Zen'' near Tanimachi 4-chome Station on the Osaka Metro. That day's daily set meal (900 yen) was ``beef Yakiniku (Grilled meat)'' and the fish was ``salmon meuniere.'' I chose the former. One raw egg is provided free of charge. I received it as TKG. The side dishes were in two tiers. The bottom row had two types Small dish and Shibazuke. The upper row had sashimi (sea bream, tuna) and the main course, beef Yakiniku (Grilled meat). It is very popular that it comes with not only beef Yakiniku (Grilled meat) but also sashimi. (ﾟдﾟ) Yummy!! The meat was tough as expected, but there was stir-fried vegetables underneath, and the volume was perfect. After-hours coffee (hot or iced) is also free. I cooled down and left the store.
