My first visit was to have lunch at ``Tandan & Chinese Bar Karashogun'' in Nishi Ward, Osaka City. The nearest station is Awaza Station on the Osaka Metro. I entered the store by myself around 12:55 noon on weekdays. There is 1 customer in front and 0 customers in the store with 12 seats (6 counters, 2 x 3 tables). I will have the "Tandanmen set" for 1,045 yen. The 5 yen is a bonus, so the bill was 1,040 yen. The food will be served within 4-5 minutes of waiting. The Dandanmen set consists of the following.・Tandan noodles ・Half mapo rice ・Salad ・Dessert ◆Tandan noodles (slightly spicy choice) It is said to be made with white sesame seeds, but as you can see in the photo, it is thin straight noodles in a red soup. The soup is not the usual tandan, but a spicy type that is delicious for those who like spicy food. The thinner noodles are softer than the extra-fine noodles, and I feel that the noodles with a core are better suited for this soup. Ingredients are ground meat, bok choy, and nuts. To my taste, the soup and ingredients are delicious, but the noodles are disappointing. ◆ Half mapo rice It's not so small that it's half-sized. It's a good amount for someone like me who eats a normal amount. This also has a spicy taste. I don't get the impression that the food is carefully prepared, but it's the type I personally like. ◆Salad It seems like potato salad usually comes with dressing, but I asked for it without it. I added it to Dandan noodles, and it was a nice addition to the topping. ◆Dessert Two canned mandarin oranges. Is it a charm to have too much? I really like Chinmaya, which has fewer restaurants in Osaka, and I'm glad I was able to eat something similar to that restaurant. The only thing I was disappointed with was the noodles in the dandan noodles, but everything else was delicious and suited my taste. The upcoming hot season. I felt that this was a dish I could eat on days when I didn't have much of an appetite.
