フレンチトーストは一食の価値有り。
朝食ブッフェ 1620円 (朝食利用のみの場合)
大阪滞在中に宿泊した、堺筋本町にある「シティープラザ大阪」での朝食で二日間利用。
和食は、魚介類、特に海藻を使った惣菜の種類が多く、味付けは全体的に塩分控えめで食べ易い。
焼き魚は1日目が鮭、2日目が鯖。その他のおかずは2日間ともほぼ同じだった。
洋食は、定番のソーセージやベーコン、パスタ、サラダなどが揃っているが、中でも、食パンだけでなくクロワッサンなど色々なパンを卵に漬け込んで焼いたフレンチトーストが斬新で、一食の価値有り。
そのフレンチトーストやオムレツ、豆腐、目玉焼きなど幾つかの料理が、大きなバットいっぱいのサイズで、オタマやヘラで好きな量を自分で切り分けて盛るのが面白い。
水の流れる庭園に面して細長い造りの店内は、決して広くはないがガラス張りで天井が高く開放的。テラス席もあり、今の季節でなければ外も気持ち良さそうである。
ホテルも最上階に温泉があり、大浴場や露天風呂、サウナなどで適度にカロリー消費をしながら、大阪の食を存分に楽しむ事ができた。

Used it for the first time in 5 years since last time. Since I stayed for two nights this time, I had the breakfast buffet two days in a row. I enjoyed the wide variety of Japanese-style meal and Western Cuisine food, focusing on standard items. This Restaurants is located at City Plaza Osaka, about 250 meters due east from Sakaisuji-honmachi Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line and Sakaisuji Line, under the elevated Hanshin Expressway No. 1 Loop Line. The interior is long and deep with good lighting and high ceilings, with a view of the lush garden beyond the glass walls. The store's name, Rivage, apparently means "shore" in French.
