「おや、ここもこういったメニューを出していたのか」。そう思ったのがこの度『PRONTO』で見つけたハロウィン限定のソフトドリンクです。
ここ『PRONTO』について、個人的には店構えからしてスタバやコメダといったカフェや喫茶店というよりもバーのイメージが強く、何となくハロウィンとは無縁かなと思っておりました。ですが、この日こちらの店舗の前を通り掛かった際にハロウィン向けメニューの存在を知りました。それこそがこの度店内で頂いた“ハロウィンパープル(グレープ＆カシス)”です。
こちらは昼間のカフェタイム限定のドリンクで、その内容はグレープ果汁と果肉入りカシスシロップにミルクを加え、ホイップとベリーソース、カラフルシュガーをトッピングしたポップな仕上がりにしたものです。他の店ではジャック・オー・ランタンやゴースト、黒猫などを模したトッピングやデコレーションを施したスイーツをよく目にします。一方それらと比べるとこの度のドリンクは色合いこそ日本では毒々しい・不気味といったイメージの強い紫色をしておりましたが、正直ドリンクカップに描かれたジャック・オー・ランタンなどのイラストが無ければハロウィン限定とは思わなかったかもしれません。味わいに関しては想像していたよりも甘さはしつこくなく、一般的なスムージーより飲みやすい気がしました。
この度の“ハロウィンパープル(グレープ＆カシス)”、グレープがお好きな方だけでなくあまり派手なデコレーションは不要といった方にはちょうどいいかもしれません。皆さんもよろしければ参考にしてみて下さい。
