この日は、当店の附近にある「吉次」で食べログレビュアー3名で食事をした後、2軒目としてこちらを訪問。なお、1軒目は3名だったが2軒目からは、また別に1名参加予定。2軒目に当店を選んだ理由はいくつかあって、
①1軒目が濃い味の料理だったので、刺身等はパス
②1軒目でかなり飲み食いしたので、安い店が好ましい。正直、味は二の次
③食べログでの点数が非常に低い
といったあたり(あともう1つ、カードが使える店というのも条件(笑))。
当店、値段については1串50円からとのことでかなり安そう。③についても、レビューは8軒あり、全員が★3.5以上なのだが大半が影響度切れ(最終訪問から2年経過)なのと、多くの方が(ﾋﾟｰｯ)なため、ほとんど上がっていないよう。食べロガーとしては、(店を育てる楽しみなどと偉そうなことは言わないが)「点数を上げる喜び」があるし、なによりみな高評価なので、味も期待できそうだ。
しかし店に着いてびっくり、超満員！我々はギリギリ空いていた席に滑り込み。なお当店、地下1階までフロアがあり、そちらもギッシリ。「食べログなんてアテにならん」とは良く言われるが、食べログ上ではまったく目立たないのにこの人気、本当にアテにならんな(笑)。
さて注文だが、1串50円のものは、「やきとり」(モモ？)のみ。とはいえ、安いからといって50円の串ばかり大量に注文するのは食べロガーの、いや人として恥ずかしい。他の串は他店とあまり変わらない値段だが、これをいくつか注文する。ただ、僕の好きな「ささみ」を、串を含め数種類注文したところ、今日は「ささみ」は品切れとのこと…焼き鳥屋に来た楽しみが半減。串は盛り合わせにした。
ほかの一品メニューも、1品が品切れとのこと。しょうがないので不足分はルーさんに丸投げ(笑)。と思っていたら、さらに1品品切れだったとのこと(笑)。ちなみに、応対してくれた女性スタッフが非常に愛嬌のあるオカーサンで、品切れの連続でも、まったく腹は立たなかった。
串だが、やや甘めのタレ。肉質は全然悪くない。サイズは、やや小さめだけれど値段も比較的安めだからこんなもんかな。ゴーヤの天ぷらは、自分で作るのとあまり変わらない気はしたが(笑)、チキン南蛮は、これは串とは違い大きめで食べ応えがあった。
2軒目はあまり飲み食いしないなんて誰かが言っていた気もするが、結構飲み食い(特に飲み)してしまった。おかげで安いと思っていた店で、1人4000円台にまでなってしまったが、大満足！このあたりで焼き鳥なら、1人2人なら「なかお」にとどめを刺すが、3人以上であればこちらの勝ちだろう。ただしどうやら、大人数であれば予約は必須かもしれない。食べログでは無名だが超人気店だから。
いやはや、たったの★3.01…だから食べログはアテにならんのだ(笑)。★3.5は、付かないとおかしい店。
