大阪メトロ・堺筋本町駅の12号出入口から本町通りを西へ少し進んだところ。大阪産業創造館の東側、東横堀川沿いにあるステーキやチーズ料理を主とした欧風料理のお店です。
所用で妻殿とこの辺りをうろついていて、どこかで昼食を…っと思ってお店を探していたら、ここのランチの案内表示に出くわし、そこには「ラクレット」という記載が。チーズはどちらも大好物なので、ここで昼食にすることにしました。
エントランスから階段で下に降りたところに入口がある。といっても地下ではなくここが1階。東横堀川の川べりは土地が一段下がっているんですね。
店内は小ぶりの カフェといった雰囲気で、テーブル席・カウンター席合わせて30人ぐらいの収容か？テーブルは小さく、各テーブルの間隔も狭めながら、窓から川べりのテラス席が望めるので、窮屈感はありません。
このお店の営業時間は変則的で、平日は夜のみの営業、土日はランチのみの営業となっています。この日は土曜日だったので、たまたまランチに巡り合ったようです。
ランチメニューは4種類。「ラクレットチーズハンバーグ」（1,300円）、「ぐつぐつリゾット」（1,200円）、「牛フィレが溶け込んだ欧風カレー」（1,000円）、そして国産牛のフィレステーキにサラダ・ライスの付いた「ステーキランチ」（2,500円）となっています。
ワタシはリゾットを、妻殿はハンバーグを注文し、シェアすることにしました。待つ間、テラスの桜が目を楽しませてくれます。
リゾットはふつふつ煮立った状態で運ばれてきました。チーズの香りが猛烈に立ち上がっています。スプーンでよくかき混ぜ、注意して口に運ぶがものの、熱くて口が付けられない。しばらくそのまま放置した後、再度口に運びます。
クリーミーな質感のリゾットは、かなり濃厚なチーズの風味があって実に美味しい。ところどころ溶け残ったチーズのグニッとしたところがまた旨い。
ライスはアルデンテより柔らかく雑炊みたいな感じで優しい味わい。塩気が控えめなのでクリームの甘みが感じられるのもいいですね。意外に量が多いので、食べても食べてもなかなか減りません。
妻殿の ハンバーグは溶けたラクレットチーズを乗せたビーフハンバーグにトマトソースを合わせています。肉感の強いハンバーグにチーズは合うが、それ以上にトマトソースがフレッシュで美味しい。
反則技かもしれないが、このトマトソースをリゾットに少し投入してみたところ、味に締まって実にいい。ここでは是非シェアして食べるのがいいと思います。
最後に+200円のコーヒーを。苦味のあるすっきりとしたタイプで、こちらも美味しい。昨秋、阿倍野のチーズ料理店で大ハズレを引いたが、今回、偶然見つけたお店ながら、「当たり」を引いた気分です。
