PR for restaurants |
1 minute from Honmachi Station. Great value yakitori restaurant serving charcoal-grilled Oyama chicken. Happy hour 209 yen! Single diners welcome.
At Tori Rock, you can casually enjoy juicy "Oyama Chicken". The chicken is slaughtered that morning and grilled over charcoal before being served. They also serve homemade smoked dishes such as chicke |
``Tori Rock'' is Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) restaurant located in the basement of a building on the way to Honmachi Station along Yotsubashi-suji.I've known about the restaurant for quite some time, but this was my first visit. The entrance to the store is as you go down the narrow stairs. It was only around 11:30, so I was probably the first customer. Inside the restaurant, there are counter seats facing the kitchen and seats at tall tables. It has a somewhat bar-like atmosphere. Was it like that in the past? I was surprised because I thought there would be a tatami room or something. It's not a restaurant that's suitable for groups, but rather a restaurant that caters to small groups. Click here for the lunch menu ◆Chicken paitan Hot Pot soup set meal 800 yen ◆Chicken nanban plum tartare set meal 750 yen ◆Oyama chicken thigh fried chicken set meal 780 yen ◆Ranno egg Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl) set meal 800 yen Other individual items. It's pretty reasonable considering the price of a typical lunch these days. I was a little worried because it was so cheap, but I ordered the "Chicken Nanban Plum Tartare Set Meal" for 750 yen. After a while, rice, soup, Small dish dishes, salad, and main dishes arrived. I'll have chicken soup. Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) has chicken soup. The Small dish is cold tofu and dried daikon radish. The salad is lettuce, radish, and tomato. The portion of chicken nanban is a little small, but it's soft and delicious. Also, the plum tartare is delicious. By the way, this tartare can also be replaced with regular tartare. Large servings of rice are possible. Maybe it wouldn't have felt strange if I had eaten lunch after visiting at night when it was a good value for money, but I feel like it's not enough if I start with lunch. Since I know the quality of lunch at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Honmachi, I would recommend this place a little more. Well, it's just my personal opinion, so don't take it too seriously.
