(First visit in February 2024) This is a weekday dinner. It's my second night at work in Osaka. On this day, I decided to drink alone and visited this place, which is famous for its chicken. Visiting time: 18:30, 1 group of customers ahead of us, no customers after us. The surrounding shops are busy, but why is it so quiet? Sit at the counter and get a mega highball for 605 yen...easy! From the yakitori menu, the thighs are 143 yen, the bonjiri is 198 yen, and the Tsukimi meatballs are 253 yen.The meatballs are particularly chewy and worth boasting about. It's expensive, but the chicken is very flavorful. Additionally, from the oden menu, I ordered egg 165 yen, chikuwa 163 yen, fried tofu 176 yen, and shirataki 88 yen. A light soup made with chicken stock. Personally, I wasn't satisfied with it... The ingredients were light, and the tofu was elegantly soft and fluffy. What I wanted to eat was cheap and hard fried tofu that was soaked in flavor, but... Oden wasn't to my liking. I drank the last Ao Highball (660 yen) and finished drinking alone. One thing that bothered me about the restaurant was that they didn't have shichimi on the table. I asked the staff to bring it to me. Also, there is no mustard in the oden...is that what it is? There are no towels or towels...I have to eat without getting my hands dirty. I went back to the hotel and had a drink in my room while watching Amazon Prime.
