JR京橋から歩いて新京橋商店街にあります、やきとん大丸屋です。
ここの前を通るたびに流行ってんなあ〜と思っていたやきとんのお店です。比較的串もんに関しては圧倒的に串カツ屋さんが多い大阪で、やきとんのお店というのは珍しい気はします。ちょうど一席空いてそうだったので入ってみました。
店内はそんなに席数が多くはなく、店先には商店街らしいテラス席も用意してあります。分煙ではないのでこの狭めの空間ですと、非喫煙者にとっては少々辛いかもです。
名物はレバー類で、中でも目玉がレバ串が50円であるという事。1人2本までという制限はありますが、これさ頼まざるをえません。他に串をおまかせで5種盛り、レバカツ、そして自分で作るポテトサラダを。最近気づきましたが、ポテトサラダを自分で作るスタイルは大阪独自の文化なんですかね？
50円のレバ串は確かに名物にしていいくらい値段と味と大きさが釣り合ってないもの。ちょいレアぎみです。他の串はやきとんに、やきとり扱いなのか手羽先も入り5本で600円ならかなりお得に感じました。味付けは全部塩でそれはそれで良いです。
総じて串のボリューム感があり、レバカツも値段の割にデカいなあという感じです。おまけにお酒類もリーズナブルですのでそら流行るわという感じです。あと何気にこの雑多な店内なのに店員さんの接客が凄く丁寧で感じが良いのも好印象でした。あれ？すご〜くいいお店じゃん。帰りがけには飴ちゃんをもらい、また来ようと思いました。
