Kouka Ryuho, a Chinese Restaurants at Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka. This time it's a classic lunch course. Although the food is Chinese Cuisine, it has the elegant flavors that Japanese people prefer. The appetizers, jellyfish, Chinese cabbage, and Peking duck (style), are an amazing combination of textures and cooking. Dim sum is piping hot and crispy, and you can tell that they put a lot of effort into each piece. What surprised me was the salt-fried squid. The squid is really soft, lightly burnt, but the seasoning is genius! I chose the sweet and sour pork for the main dish, and the meat was tender and had three chunky, large pieces of pork, making it very filling. The rich sweet and sour sauce mixes well and makes you want rice. Lastly, the gomoku fried rice and soup were also very fluffy and I was happy with the small amount. I also had the almond tofu dessert, which was a great treat. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many customers and I was able to relax. Not only the food but also the service and environment are great. Recommended when you want a relaxing Chinese lunch ✨
