Near JR Noda Station/Subway Tamagawa Station, a short walk along the elevated railway line toward Fukushima. We visited Tamachan Cafeterias for lunch. I wonder if the "ball" in Tamachan Cafeterias is a ball of Tamagawa? I don't know, but it is the second brand of "Wheat and Soy" homemade noodles, but it is not Noodles lol. I got the B set meal for 1,000 yen. It consists of 2 pieces of fried bean curd, spicy chashu egg, rice, pickles and soup. There are three different rice portions: regular, large (+50 yen) and mangamori (+100 yen), but during lunch time, more rice is free. I chose the large portion to make it more manageable, but considering the amount of side dishes, the manga-mori portion may be just right for you if you can eat it. It is so large that I think so. Let's take a look at some more specifics. I wrote "2 pieces of fried bean curd," but the size is quite large, the size of a gengkotsu. They are juicy and well seasoned, and the rice goes on and on! This alone is enough to make you a rice thief, but there's still the real winner. Spicy Chashu Egg. Two large pieces of chashu pork are also served. The seasoning is relatively light, but you can enjoy it with the Mao Tse-Tung spice, with the egg yolk mashed with the egg, with mayonnaise, with spicy sauce, and so on, changing the flavor as you go. The Mao Zedong Spice has a somewhat strange taste, not only spicy but also sweet. What is certain is that the rice also goes well with it. The rice thief set meal, which was full of immorality and junkiness, was not too much even for a cartoon-sized portion, and filled my empty stomach to the brim. I visited the restaurant before midnight, but it was packed with people. It might be better to eat at a later time of the day so that you can eat more slowly. I think a large percentage of the customers in the restaurant ordered the "B" set meal, but personally, I am interested in the simple Chinese soba noodles.
