日曜午後に同じエリアでカレーを食べた後のスイーツで初利用。
このエリアのお店としてはかなり広く、ケーキ等の売り場とカフェが隣り合っており、ケーキを選んでから一旦外に出てカフェに入り座るスタイル。
ケーキの販売エリアもかなり広く、日曜午後に5~6組が並んでいたが予約客が多く、すぐに注文できた。
ケーキの種類は豊富で、迷ったが季節限定のマロン系にした。500円少しオーバーの値段設定は有り難い。甘すぎず栗の甘み、渋みが感じられる絶妙のマロンクリーム。落ち着いたカフェでエスプレッソと至福の一時。
1950年からと書いてるように見えたが、それ程歴史があるのか、綺麗でお洒落な外観からは見えないが、美味しさは間違いなし。さすがの100名店。
