This is the 7th time to visit Osaka. After leaving Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant in Kitashinchi, I headed to Namba to find a restaurant for after-party. However, since it was a Friday night, I had a hard time finding one. I searched for a restaurant on Tabelog that I could enter and found this one. Arrived after 9pm. After leaving the shop for the first meeting, I wandered around for over an hour. I'm tired. The selling point of this Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) is that it has a chicken bone-based soup that has been brewed for 8 hours, with offal and vegetables cooked in a light, Hot Pot style. Orders are as follows. Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) Hot Pot style 1,200 yen x 3 people As it is a signature menu, it has a light taste but is rich in vegetables. The cabbage was sweet and the chicken stock was delicious. One bite of fried Gyoza / Dumpling 550 yen The taste is okay. However, it felt like Gyoza / Dumpling was placed too small on half the space on the plate, making it look sparse and the balance between Gyoza / Dumpling and the plate was poor. Grilled offal 770 yen It feels like a lot of cabbage with chocolate on top. The appearance of this dish is also well-balanced. Assortment of 3 types of horse sashimi 1,760 yen 3 types: red meat, mane, and futaego. Futaego is the rib part of the meat, which is said to be a rare part, but I thought it was lean meat, but the original red meat has already changed color. Mane has too much fat for me. The horse sashimi here also looks meager because it is on a large plate considering the amount. I don't like the taste, and the satisfaction level for the price is low. To finish off, the staff cooked black sesame soba for 400 yen for 3 people, but to be honest, the finished product didn't look appetizing, probably because it was made with black sesame seeds. The taste was okay, though. Overall, Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) is delicious. The taste of the side menu is also good. However, the arrangement of the food and the balance between the plates and ingredients was poor, and the food was quite different from the menu photo, so the sense of excitement was lost. It's a small thing though. The staff are from the continent, and they are serious and hard working. It's a shame because the taste of the food is not bad. Thank you for the meal.
