新世界の有名串カツ屋さんの支店です。
こちらは心斎橋・パブロの交差点を挟んだ対面にあります。
こちらは八重勝以上に明確です。
「これが浪速の串カツでっせ」感を全面に出しています。
新世界の本店はここまででもありませんでしたがこちらは露骨です。
ステレオタイプになる事を受け入れるどころか最大限利用しちゃった感じです。
その分小綺麗で、観光客には入りやすくなっています。
と思ったらごく最近出来たところなんですね。納得。
中も綺麗で広目です。
テーブル席はベルトコンベアで流れてくる方式。
回転寿司で最近よく見るハイテク機器です。
メニューは豊富でどれも1本から。
串カツは120円と単価的にはやや高めですが、その分他のメニューも120円が多く、
結果的には合計が安くなるかもしれませんね。
串カツに限らず、全体的に衣がやや厚いです。
それ以上に気になったのは具と衣の間に物凄く隙間があること。
そのため一体感がなく、また衣が簡単に剥がれてしまいます。
そもそもこのお店に来るお客さんは気にしないのかも分かりませんが。
一緒に注文したきすは極普通。
牛ベーコンはわざわざ牛のベーコンである必要はあるのかな？というもの。
揚げ手によって味は変わるものでしょうか？それとも回転直後でまだ未熟なだけ
？
味はしっくりこなかったというのが本音です。
ただ立地は観光ついでの客相手だけでなく地元の方の呑みにも良いでしょうね。
これからに期待です。
