月末の金曜日、何故か仕事帰りにワクチン接種を受けることになり、接種会場のある心斎橋を訪れた。ワクチン接種が終わったのが、午後７時３０分頃。このまま帰宅するのも勿体無いと思い、前から行きたかったこちらのお店に来訪した。鰻谷にある日本酒と刺身が旨いと言われる立ち呑み屋さん。
この季節だと鱧や鮎なども頂けるようだが、この日は残念ながら鮎はメニューになかった。そこでまずは刺身五種盛りと、とりあえず喉が乾いていたので、生小を注文した。
まずはビールが運ばれてきた。暑い盛りに加えワクチン接種からの緊張解放もあってか、冷たいビールがとても旨い。料理が来る前に飲み干してしまった。
そこで、メニューから、大好きな銘酒の一つである鳳凰美田純米吟醸を注文する。すぐに一升瓶とグラスを持って来て、グラスどころか受け皿一杯まで注いでくれた。グラスを手に持って口と鼻に近づけると、爽やかな香りがくすぐる。軽く口に含むと、やわらかだけど旨味がしっかりと感じられる。ああうまい、と独り言を言ってしまう。
刺身五種盛りが運ばれてくる。鱸、鮪、縞鯵、サゴシ、サーモンの五種。どれも旨そう。日本酒を口に含んで飲み干し、その後、刺身をいただく。そしてまた日本酒を飲む。魚の旨味が口に広がりとても幸せになる。どの魚もとても日本酒に合う。鱸やサゴシは特に旨く感じる。
もう少しだけ何か食べたいと思い、メニューを見ていると、鱧の梅肉紫蘇揚げを見つける。ちょうど今が季節。すぐに注文する。
しばらくして鱧梅肉紫蘇揚げ用意される。比較的大きなポーションのものが2つ。熱々ですごく旨そう。口に入れると、鱧と梅肉の素晴らしい調和を感じる。間違いなく旨い。日本酒を飲み干してしまう。まだ刺身も残っているので、みむろ杉純米吟醸を注文した。
直ぐに、店員さんが一升瓶とグラスを持って、目の前でグラスに注いでくれる。柔らかな吟醸香が立ち昇る。こちらの日本酒も少し甘めだけど、酸味との調和がよく、料理によく合う。刺身の魚本来の味わいや、鱧梅肉揚げの旨さが一層引き立つ。刺身を食べ、日本酒を飲み、鱧をいただき、また日本酒を飲む。まさに至福のひととき。
入店して３０分位経った。目の前の料理や日本酒はなくなり、もう少し飲み食いしたいとも思ったが、家に帰って夕食を取ることとし、お勘定をして退店した。
こちらのお店、料理数が豊富でちょっとした小料理屋か割烹のよう。また、値段も安くて注文しやすい。日本酒もいいものが揃っている。また、近くに行くことがあれば、是非立ち寄りたい。
